WHEN MY HEART IS OVERWHELMED
There are times when the heart feels overwhelmed;
In faith, we reach out to God in the heavenly realm.
Our human resources are so limited in many ways;
But the challenges of life continue every single day.
Crying out to God in prayer is a natural thing to do;
The Scriptures teach us to trust in a God who is true.
The heart in humility offers sincere prayers;
It knows that there is a God who truly cares.
The Lord’s leading is sincerely sought;
That God answers prayer is clearly taught.
The Scriptures are read and inspiration found;
The mercy and grace of God will abound.
“Lead me to a rock that is higher than I;”
To this request, the Lord would reply.
There is a Rock that is good and strong;
God also gives to the heart a glorious song!
