WHEN GOD SEEMS TO HAVE FORSAKEN US
When God seems not to hear our prayers;
When the Lord seems as if He does not care.
When all seems lost and our souls are dry;
That is the time when our Faith, we must apply!
There may be times when we feel forsaken;
And God seems far away in distant Heaven.
When we feel our prayers will not really count;
That is the time when our Prayers, we must mount!
There may be times when our hearts are breaking;
And we feel we are on the verge of despairing.
When we are tempted to actually give up on God;
That is the time when we must Trust the LORD!
The experiences of life may seem unfair;
There are problems that appear everywhere.
We need not give up our faith in God at all;
The LORD will hear us even as we Call!
