TRUSTING IN TIMES OF TROUBLE
There are times when Trust seems impossible to sustain;
The problems do not go away, and deep fears remain.
Enemies on the outside seem to become more wicked;
Yet the soul knows that it must Trust the Lord instead!
The body grows weak, and the eyes grow dim;
The problems seem heavier, all because of sin!
Tears continue to come and they seem ruinous;
Yet the heart continues to Trust that God is righteous!
The troubles of life seem too much to bear;
The worries, the tears, the grief, the cares!
How long more will the troubles last?
The mind must determine to hold fast!
Trust in the Lord would not be in vain;
There must be faith that the Lord reigns!
He will be our Shield and our strong Rock;
We must continue to Trust in the LORD!
