THE VOICE OF THE LORD
The Voice of the LORD is a worthy theme;
His Voice reflects His authority supreme.
God’s power is seen in all creation;
He remains sovereign amidst devastation.
The Voice of the LORD is to be discerned;
The significance of His Voice is to be learned.
To the faithful, God’s hand is truly awesome;
The fear of the LORD is altogether wholesome.
The Voice of the LORD to His people is one of peace;
He speaks to His own gently, His mercy is released.
The faithful do not have to be afraid;
They may trust the LORD instead.
The Voice of the LORD reflects the power of a King;
He is in absolute control of every single thing.
Whether in the Flood or in the Wilderness;
The LORD will grant His people blessedness!
