THE VOICE OF MY SUPPLICATION

The “Day of trouble” describes a time of dire need;

The heart is squeezed, the soul is forlorn indeed.

Prayers are sent forth to the Lord in heaven;

But doubts assail and we remain uncertain.

Doubts are like dark clouds that hide the sun;

Sometimes it is like an eclipse and we feel undone.

The heart is challenged to deepen our knowledge of God;

What is He really like, the One we address as LORD?

The LORD is indeed Good and He is Ready to forgive;

Our hearts and minds must not be so easily deceived.

God has mercy far more abundant than we can understand;

Our supplications will be answered according to His plan!

In the “Day of trouble” we must all the more believe;

We have a good God, and our prayers He will receive.

The trials and tribulations of life may be really tough;

But a strong and unwavering faith in God is enough!
