THE SACRIFICES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
The worship of God is truly sacred;
The LORD must be well-regarded.
Sacrifices must not become ritualistic;
The worshipper must be realistic.
He must know what God desires;
He must fathom what the law requires.
The heart must be righteous before God;
All sins must be confessed to the LORD.
God Himself would impute righteousness;
How wonderful to have this blessedness.
The heart must be filled with thanksgiving;
The soul cannot but be filled with singing.
Let us check our heart when we offer worship to God;
Have we been forgiven and reconciled to the LORD?
The sacrifices of righteousness would be accepted;
For we have learned how God must be regarded!
