THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL REJOICE
The power of the wicked causes worry;
Iniquity that is unbridled causes anxiety.
Judges are appointed to uphold justice;
They are supposed to defend peace.
But some judges are afraid of the wicked;
They choose to keep silent instead.
This makes wickedness abound;
And great evil can truly surround.
Prayers must ascend to God Most Holy;
The righteous must cry out to the Almighty.
The LORD is both Judge and King;
Ultimate power lies within Him.
The righteous will rejoice in the LORD;
They exult when evil is judged by God.
May the LORD hear the cries of the needy!
May they be lifted up from a life of misery!
