THE MERCY OF THE MOST HIGH
The mercy of God is often taken for granted;
His lovingkindness should be better treasured.
It is good and wise to be conscious of God’s mercy;
Through that we would be spared from misery.
Through God’s mercy we are given life;
How wonderful to be delivered from strife.
God’s mercy would be translated into blessing;
How the heart must be filled with thanksgiving.
The mercy of God is seen in what He gives;
Honour and glory is what we may receive.
Thank God for His mercy given;
This blessing comes from heaven.
The mercy of the Lord should cause gladness;
May our heart ever be filled with thankfulness!
Trust in the Lord should be further deepened;
May our consciousness of God be sharpened!
