THE LORD WILL RECEIVE MY PRAYER
There may be times when the heart feels discouraged;
Enemies taunt and they do everything to disparage.
They sow seeds of doubt and bring despair to the Soul;
The challenge is not to give up but to pray to be made whole.
The prayers we make to the LORD are not in vain;
He will hear our cries for He continues to reign.
He is the LORD of hosts and also the King;
He is truly sovereign over everything!
How wonderful to find full assurance;
We need never lose our confidence!
The Lord is mindful of every tear;
Lovingly, He will draw very near.
He assures us that He has heard our prayer;
He comforts us with His kind and tender care.
He brings needed revival to our Soul;
We may arise and once again be bold.
