THE LORD UPHOLDS THE RIGHTEOUS
The Psalmist observed the activities of the wicked;
Their hearts seemed to be filled with so much hatred.
They plot against the Just with evil intentions;
They gnash their teeth in their contemplations.
They draw out their sword bent on killing;
They have no qualms about their evil desiring.
They bend their bows to shoot at the poor and needy;
They seek to increase wealth, though they have plenty.
But they did not reckon with the LORD;
They have forgotten the power of God!
Their schemes would come to nothing;
God is sovereign over everything!
The righteous need not be worried;
The LORD would meet all their needs.
God would uphold the truly Righteous;
He would bless them for they are Just.
