THE LORD SUSTAINED ME
Prayer is sometimes offered out of desperation;
The problems of life can result in destruction.
The heart is driven to seek God in prayer;
The soul finds much-needed solace there.
Prayer can take on greater significance;
Seeking the Lord is of great importance.
There must be a growing knowledge of God;
He is to be trusted as the Covenant-LORD.
Praying to God involves a deep sense of trust;
We may be robbed of sleep when we are restless.
The LORD is there to hear the prayers we offer;
The power to sustain us is what He can proffer.
Our challenge must be to go deeper in our prayer-life;
There are situations and problems that can cause strife.
There is much to be discovered about God as we pray;
We will learn more about the LORD as we pray each day.
