THE LORD REIGNS
In the midst of a world that seems chaotic,
And where human response borders on the frantic.
It is good to know and to believe, “The LORD reigns!”
And over all the uncertainties, He is sovereign!
The LORD is ever in control of everything,
Though at times, things may seem frightening.
Faith in the LORD will enable us to more than cope;
The Scriptures offers us a wonderful sense of hope!
The LORD is both God and sovereign King;
He has appointed Jesus as Judge Supreme.
He will one day return and rule in fairness;
He will judge in both truth and righteousness.
The world may rejoice in the LORD indeed;
He will help us and provide for all our needs.
The field and the trees rejoice and give praise;
The faithful thank God for His matchless grace.
