THE LORD REDEEMS THE SOUL
The sufferings of life are truly many;
They come in different forms aplenty.
They can cause the heart to be fearful;
Comfort is found in God who is faithful.
God watches over His own lovingly;
He does not send affliction willingly.
He will give His special protection;
His power will be given with affection.
The wicked are given forewarning;
Judgment would be forthcoming.
The Lord’s justice will be upheld;
To remain stubborn is truly sad!
The faithful may rejoice in God;
He may fully trust in the LORD;
His soul would be redeemed fully;
God deals with His own mercifully!
