THE KING OF GLORY
Powerful enemies threaten the city of God’s people;
There is some fear, for war is always terrible.
The King of glory gives a command to His army;
They will march out and face the wicked enemy.
The King of glory leads the Heavenly hosts;
It is the greatest army from coast to coast.
The enemies are soundly defeated;
In fear and panic, they have retreated!
The King of glory returns victorious;
The whole city is excited and rejoices!
The gates of the city are to be opened;
The people welcome the King of Heaven.
The King of glory deserves all praise;
Matchless is His awesome grace!
Let our hearts praise the King of glory!
There is no one who is more worthy!
