THE GOODNESS OF GOD ENDURES
Much evil may appear in the world of man;
Sometimes, we cannot see God’s hand.
We are tempted to give in to despair;
It seems the world is beyond repair.
We need to believe in God’s goodness;
We must continue to trust in His faithfulness.
Evil may seem to prevail for a time;
We must trust in God’s will sublime.
The goodness of the Lord is to be trusted;
His word and will must be well-regarded.
The Lord will not let evil reign indefinitely;
He will deal with the wicked eventually.
“The goodness of God endures continually;”
This truth we must hold fast to strongly.
Let our prayers of faith ascend to God;
Our cries would be heard by the Lord!
