THAT IT MIGHT BE FULFILLED
The Holy Scriptures are amazing in many ways;
They give light and guidance each and every day.
One of the most fascinating aspects is “prophecy;”
This reflects the foreknowledge of God gloriously.
Hundreds of years ago, the Triumphal Entry was prophesied;
Nobody fully understood this prophecy, no matter how hard one tried.
Who was the King? Why would He ride on the foal of a donkey?
Such questions remain unanswered till Jesus came from Heaven’s glory.
Jesus had come, very humbly, as the Son of Man;
He had to fulfill all aspects of God’s Salvation plan.
He taught, He healed, He cast out demons who were wicked;
To all who turned to Him, He gave salvation and peace instead.
The fulfilment of prophecy reflected God’s foreordination;
Jesus, the Son of God, would be greeted with joyous adulation!
He is Prophet, Priest and King and He deserves our praise;
On Palm Sunday, let us proclaim Him as our King always!
