PREPARE MERCY AND TRUTH WHICH MAY PRESERVE HIM
How would the “heritage” of those who fear the Lord be given?
Good insight suggests that measures were taken by God in heaven.
The first special manifestation of the Lord is the giving of His Mercy;
This would be judiciously applied to the saints most decidedly.
The second manifestation is the Truth, the Word of God;
This is found in the Scriptures, the great Biblical record.
The promises of God are expressions of Truth given;
Each word would be honoured by the Lord of heaven.
Both Mercy and Truth need to be sent forth by God;
These would preserve the true servants of the Lord.
They would enlighten and they would empower;
His servants would be protected hour by hour.
How the heart must be moved to sing God’s praise;
He has given His heritage out of His great grace.
The name of the Lord is to be honoured for eternity;
He has blessed His faithful servants abundantly.
