ON YOU I WAIT ALL THE DAY
Trust in the LORD is an important thing to learn;
It is to be built on what we know of the God of Heaven.
The trying times of life will teach us how to trust;
Our faith in God needs to be truly robust.
Waiting on the LORD is another essential lesson;
It trains the soul to be truly humble and patient.
Waiting is just as hard to learn as trust in God;
These lessons are “ordered” of the LORD.
We have no choice but to learn to wait and pray;
We cannot demand that God does what we say.
The soul learns vital lessons of life as it waits;
Discernment will come to he who meditates.
As we wait, we must seek to know God’s ways;
We must ask the Saviour to lead each day.
His paths must be learned most carefully;
Our waiting on God would be blessed richly.
