IN YOU, O LORD, I PUT MY TRUST

Sometimes we pray with a sense of anxiety;

We are troubled by life’s many uncertainties.

We fear that our faith in God may be in vain;

That would cause us to feel deep shame.

At other times, we pray with much fear;

We are afraid that God may not hear.

We plead with God most urgently;

We hope He will answer speedily.

Part of our problem may be a lack of Trust;

But Faith has to be exercised; it is a Must!

We must Trust that God would be our Rock;

He is our Refuge and He is the LORD!

Let us learn to Trust as we pray;

Let us seek to keep Fear at bay.

Our Trust in God will be blessed;

He will help us in our distress!
