IN THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS
The “Shadow of Your Wings” became a favourite phrase;
This truth highlighted the Lord’s Presence and grace.
God’s protection was needed in times of calamity;
How we need to cry out for the Lord’s great mercy.
In the “Shadow of God’s Wings,” refuge may be found;
In the Power of God, a special peace will, our soul, surround.
God grants peace amidst turmoil and uncertainty;
Such is the Power of God that gives true serenity.
In the “Shadow of His Wings,” we must trust;
Let us hold fast to the Lord’s righteousness.
He will be there for all His fearful children;
He will watch them faithfully in Heaven.
We may cry out to God for salvation;
He will save us from man’s condemnation.
He will send forth His truth and His mercy;
There is no one like the Lord Almighty.
