I WILL GIVE THANKS TO YOU FOREVER
There was a time of great sorrow;
We felt there would be no tomorrow!
Sadness filled the heart and mind;
To the Lord’s grace, we were blind!
Grace was given and distress was gone;
The heart is no longer feeling forlorn.
The soul has found its wings to fly again;
A great song of joy is now our refrain!
We cannot help but give thanks!
There is no mistaking God’s hands.
He has driven away deep darkness;
To the heart He gives great gladness!
We must never forget God’s blessing;
To Him we must offer thanksgiving!
Each day we will offer heartfelt praise;
We cannot but speak of His grace!
