I WILL BLESS THE LORD

To bless the LORD should be a natural thing to do;

God has blessed us in every way and He is always true.

He is the One who gives good counsel;

These in turn become truth-principles.

There are difficult times in our life called the “night seasons;”

These times are worrying and some have lost their reason.

But the LORD can be there at our right hand;

If we seek Him He will show us His great plan.

It is up to us to determine God’s place in our life;

He will wait for us to seek Him amidst great strife.

And if we choose to include God in all our ways;

The LORD will reveal to us much mercy and grace.

Let us indeed choose the LORD as our portion;

Truly, there is no better or wiser decision.

Our heart can then “bless the LORD” heartily;

We have every reason to rejoice gratefully.
