I KNOW THAT THE LORD SAVES HIS ANOINTED
God called certain people to His glorious service;
They could be kings, prophets or priests.
They would receive a special anointing;
This would confirm the Lord’s Calling.
The people called would be regarded as “Anointed;”
The Spirit of God would cause them to be empowered.
They would find much grace and strength to fulfil their Calling;
They would never fear that they would be found wanting.
The LORD would save His anointed for good reason;
He would hear and send deliverance from Heaven.
Love and care for His anointed are on His heart;
From His anointed ones, He would never depart.
How good it is to have this sense of assurance;
The heart is reassured and regains confidence.
The LORD will hear our hearts’ petitions;
He will respond and grant deliverance.
