HAVE MERCY ON ME
Why do we not use the word “Mercy” more often?
Why do we not plead for “Mercy” from God in heaven?
The reality is that we are too filled with pride;
We are not able to set this problem aside.
It is only when we are driven almost to desperation;
Then would we seek the Lord for His pardon.
Humility and wisdom lead us to plead for “Mercy;”
We need God’s Mercy, and that desperately!
The afflictions and pain are hard to bear;
We are so worn out with worry and care.
The LORD bids us come to Him for mercy;
He will not despise us for our infirmity.
The LORD is most gracious and merciful;
He will always be understanding and faithful.
He knows all the problems that we face;
He wants us to learn to wait for His grace!
