GOD IS MY DEFENSE
Wickedness knows no limits at all;
Evil will cause some people to fall.
There is also the problem of arrogance;
Even towards God, evil is impertinent!
God is not in the least perturbed;
Evil need not, our faith, disturb!
We must hold fast to our faith in God;
The trust we have is in the LORD!
He who is Almighty laughs at man’s puny might;
He who made the earth, has Sovereign rights.
He will not allow the wicked to prevail;
Their evil plans would be of no avail.
The LORD is our Defense;
This truth is of significance!
He is our great God of mercy!
Wickedness will fail utterly!
