GIVE TO THE LORD THE GLORY DUE TO HIS NAME
The Call to worship is extended to people far and wide;
Everyone is encouraged to offer praise for God’s might.
He deserves all the glory that God alone deserves;
We must ascribe full honour to God without reserve.
It is the LORD who gives the weak, strength for the day;
To all who have no might, He gives power for the fray.
The Lord’s Glory is to be acknowledged with all our heart;
This desire to attribute honour to Him must ever depart.
The heart naturally desires to give to God an appropriate offering;
The Lord has enriched our lives wonderfully with His rich blessings.
We think it natural to give gifts to people, as the occasions demand;
How we must give sincere heed to this vital Biblical command!
In the worship of the Lord, the pure in heart are able to see God;
They recognize the beauty of His holiness and bow in one accord.
May we always give to the LORD the glory due to His name!
Let us ever ascribe to Him due honour and His glory acclaim.
