EXALT THE LORD OUR GOD
Sometimes, we are guilty of having a poor regard for God;
We can end up taking for granted our great LORD.
Let us confess that this is altogether wrong and sinful;
Let us cultivate our understanding of a God who is powerful.
The LORD is a great and mighty King;
He is God who truly reigns supreme.
He is righteous in all His ways;
He will uphold justice every day.
The LORD ought to be exalted on high;
Yet, graciously He will truly draw nigh.
The greatness of God must never be lost;
He is to be exalted and glorified at all cost.
The LORD is to be gratefully worshipped;
In His holiness is true and deep fellowship.
How blessed we are that we may own Him as our God;
Let us ever exalt Him who is rightly called the LORD.
