BE STILL
Though God is in the midst of the city;
The heart is still troubled unnecessarily.
There are worries that trouble the heart;
But the Lord can bid great fear to depart!
It is God who can command wars to cease;
He is the One who can offer true peace.
Let us remember that He is the LORD;
The mighty host of angels attend God!
“Be still” is a necessary word today;
God will protect us in every way.
He is a God who is full of power;
On us, His grace, He will shower!
Let us recall what Jacob experienced;
God provided him with much substance.
When there was danger He gave protection;
This is the same God of our salvation!
