HE GIVES WISDOM TO THE WISE
Seeking wisdom sadly is not innate in Man;
He does not seek God’s Will to comprehend.
He is easily satisfied with simple things of life;
Even though his existence may be full of strife.
Seeking basic wisdom and finding it is the first test;
The Lord will reveal deep truth only to those who quest.
He will never give that which is holy to dogs;
Nor will pearls be appreciated by lowly hogs.
The wise will be given deeper wisdom that brings gladness;
Understanding the deep things of the Kingdom is blessedness.
The search for wisdom must be accompanied by prayer;
Revelation from God will never be given to those who don’t care.
How wonderful it is to have God reveal His plans;
This is how He honours the truly wise man.
The wise become wiser as God further reveals;
Thank God that He does not desire to conceal.
