You Are My Servant
CALLED to be the servants of the LORD our God,
What greater honour can life truly bestow or afford?
CHOSEN by the Lord to fulfil a great eternal plan,
Imagine the glory He gives to the sons of men!
Fear need not grip our hearts as we ponder God’s work,
The faithful seeks to renew strength, they will never shirk!
The promise of the Lord is plain to see and understand,
God will uphold those He has called to fulfil His great plan.
Dismay need not fill the heart no matter how hard life may be
The Lord will uphold with His righteous hand with joyous glee.
He reminds the fearful, “I am the LORD your God,”
How strong we can be, when our faith is truly restored.
Restored, we begin to serve the Lord with renewed hope,
There is nothing too hard, that with God, we cannot cope.
In the Presence of the Lord we may come and seek His power,
We will find that He is indeed our Fortress, a mighty Tower.
