JUST AS THE LORD COMMANDED
The work of God is never accomplished by reasoning;
Human wisdom cannot fathom God’s divine planning.
The tasks that God assigns may seem impossible,
But to the LORD, what He says, is truly achievable.
Questions and more questions will only multiply;
That the heart is steeped in unbelief, we cannot deny.
God will graciously hear us when we gripe and complain;
But the Divine Mission remains intact and very sane!
The lesson that must be learned is full obedience;
Faith in God involves clear and definite compliance.
It is in the exercise of faith that His power is displayed;
The heart slowly begins to hold fast to God’s word instead.
The challenge today remains very much the same;
The need to practise full obedience is very plain.
Let us find the faith to know and to fully believe;
Then will doubts be dismissed and in its place Relief!
