Until I Went to the Sanctuary of God

Many things in life can trouble the mind and the heart,

Some realities are so painful the soul is nearly torn apart.

That the wicked seem to prosper in life is hard to understand,

But in the sanctuary of God wisdom is found to comprehend.

The wicked may seem to be untroubled but only in this life,

They may appear to triumph amidst all kinds of strife.

But what is the end of the road for the wicked at heart?

Their road is slippery and of the eternal they do not have a part!

The heart is grieved and vexed because the sight of God is lost,

A renewed relationship with God must be obtained no matter the cost.

How vital it is to be continually in the Presence of the Lord,

Only then will we know that the One who guides is truly God!

It is so good to know that God holds us by our right hand,

He gives us His counsel, and His Divine power He will lend.

And when we finally come to the end of our earthly life,

He will receive us into glory, forever free from stress and strife.
