The Wicked
We often think that “The Wicked” are people devoid of faith in God,
That may be true to some extent, but not according to the Lord.
“The wicked” are to be found also in the company of “The saints,”
We are to take heed that we do not become tarnished by this taint.
The wicked may have some knowledge of the Word of God,
They may even speak to people about the covenant of the Lord.
But deep down they do not appreciate Biblical instruction,
They appear to be holy but are headed for certain destruction.
They give their mouths to speaking evil of the brethren,
Their tongue frames deceit and they are like leaven.
They speak against people who are brethren in the Lord,
They slander people cruelly, sowing sad discord.
A word of warning is given to “The wicked” from the Lord,
They must cease and desist or face judgment from a Holy God.
The Lord will not remain silent but will take action against The Wicked,
They will not be spared, but they will be judged and condemned instead.
