Pay Your Vows to the Most High
Vows are solemn promises we make to the Lord in times of desperation,
Few understand the solemnity of these vows, uttered without meditation.
Many do not honour the words of promise they make to God,
This is of grave concern and thus this was addressed by the Lord!
We make excuses for our failure to keep our promises to God,
Perhaps we have failed to understand that this is sin to the Lord.
We cannot take our promises made to God lightly, for this is wrong,
Our worship will be affected badly, God can reject our worship songs.
We need to remember who God is, and He is indeed The Most High,
We must ever seek to honour our vows to God, for He is nigh!
We must not make promises that we do not intend to keep,
If we do not take heed to this matter, our very soul will sleep!
Worship becomes meaningful only when we mean what we say,
We must seek to fulfil the vows we have made without delay.
God cannot bless the worshipper who does not keep his vow,
This is a teaching we must take heed of, right here and now!
