MY COVENANT
The first Covenant God made was with Noah;
He was truly God’s man of the hour.
While the world became increasingly sinful;
Noah found grace and his Walk was meaningful.
He heard God’s Word of judgment and was alarmed;
His heart wanted to protect his loved ones from any harm.
He heeded God’s voice and built a mighty ark;
The imperative in His message he did hark.
Salvation came to Noah and his little family;
God promised He would bless his posterity.
In gratitude Noah offered a heartfelt sacrifice;
God received the offering all the way in Paradise.
He then gave to Noah a special Covenant;
The Lord would also bless His descendants!
We are the beneficiaries of God’s blessings;
Have we responded with grateful thanksgiving?
