BLESSED BE THE LORD MY ROCK
Many are the lessons God would have us learn;
He is gracious and patient in teaching us how to discern.
He draws near to puny Man with lovingkindness;
He trains His servant till he develops great prowess!
The Lord will show much grace and mercy;
When we find ourselves ensnared unwisely.
He will never ever give up on His own
He watches over them from Heaven’s throne.
The heart must draw much inspiration from the Lord;
To write new Psalms to sing to praise a glorious God!
He is always watching over His children both young and old;
He will imbue them with strength and make them bold.
It is right that we should pray for our children earnestly;
That our young men might learn to face life courageously.
And that our young women might grow up as strong pillars;
And be further blessed with deep and wonderful comeliness.
