NOW WE BELIEVE
The woman of Samaria once had no testimony to speak about
But now there was a fountain of life that made her shout.
She returned to her city her exciting story to tell,
How she met the wonderful Messiah at the well.
Some heard and were immediately impressed,
There must be some truth for they had seen her depressed.
There was now a special joy in her demeanour,
There was no mistaking a new strength and power.
Many came to believe in the Messiah as she proclaimed,
They came to faith in the power of the Messiah’s name.
They asked Jesus and asked if He would come to their city,
They spoke with souls that showed great sincerity.
Jesus urged them, the kingdom of God to receive,
And as He spoke their hearts were moved to believe.
“Now we believe” more Samaritans declared,
Jesus is the Saviour, He has made our heart glad.
