I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT
A New Covenant was promised by the LORD;
There is no end to the profound mercy of God!
In the New Covenant the Law would be put in the mind,
A special work that would show that God is truly kind.
He would write His Law upon His people’s heart,
His Holy Spirit and His power He would impart!
They would then know the Lord in great intimacy,
Everyone may comprehend God in great capacity!
All sins and iniquities would be forgiven freely by God,
Even great transgressions would be absolved by the LORD.
The New Covenant would be given to those outside Israel’s fold,
All would have access to the LORD, no one left out in the cold!
The New Covenant was made possible only by Jesus Christ,
The highest price was paid, His life was the great sacrifice!
We must never despise this New Covenant given by the LORD,
There would be no other provision offered by our Holy God!
