#3: CHOSEN
Chosen- what an awesome word to understand!
It is God Himself who chooses right to the last man.
He chose Moses though he was eighty years of age,
He would become Israel’s deliverer, its great sage.
He chose humble slaves to become His special people,
How do we fathom this logic? It is not plain or simple!
The Children of Israel would be holy and special to Him,
This concept was so profound, it was to many like a dream!
They would become A Special Treasure to His heart,
He would protect them as a Shield from fiery darts.
He would provide for them in times of famine and war,
The children of Israel could not have asked anything more.
God’s choosing is beyond our ability to comprehend,
It must come from a heart of deepest love that has no end.
How we must stand in awe that Gentiles are included too,
We who have faith are counted as part of the faithful milieu.
