#19: A BRANCH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
The unrighteousness of the world is plain to see,
There is so much evil, there are wicked tendencies.
God’s laws are disregarded and man becomes worse,
The Lord can no longer bless; Man is under a curse!
The only hope was if God were to send a Redeemer,
He must ransom man from sin and become the Saviour!
In God’s Plan there would come a Branch of Righteousness,
He would come and show how we may live in blessedness!
He will come and reign in all full power and majesty,
He would be King over God’s People in His integrity.
He would make Righteousness the rule of His Kingdom,
He would be All-together Lovely and Winsome!
Many would turn to the Messiah and call upon His name,
Their faith in Him would be secure and not be in vain.
His name would be “The LORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS”
His People would live in truly glorious blessedness!
