#17: BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN THE LORD
What does the LORD look for among His People?
He desires them to be obedient as a principle.
He does not delight in the blood of animal sacrifice,
He would rather they heed His profound advice.
What does the LORD look for but trust in Him?
The eye would be opened, it would not be dim!
The man who trusts in God would be like a tree,
He would grow tall and bear fruit wonderfully!
He would never be a mere shrub in the desert place,
The man who trusts God would always have His grace.
His roots would grow deep and he would never fear,
He has joy in his heart for he knows God is truly near.
Can the heart truly learn to fully trust the LORD?
We draw encouragement from the prophets of God!
They show us that it is possible to become strong,
The heart can be renewed and God gives a song!
