#14: FOR RENOWN, FOR PRAISE AND FOR GLORY
God’s plans for His People were clearly made known,
They were not meant to be put in a corner, they are God’s own!
He would bless His People so that many would admire them,
They would be envied as His heritage, His treasure, His gems!
But much depends on how His people would respond to the LORD,
They may choose to obey Him or disregard Him as their God!
If they were to choose to walk in on the Highway of Righteousness,
They would be blessed with abundance and everlasting goodness!
But sin has an insidious way of spoiling the best laid plans,
Foolishness, pride, covetousness can greatly ruin the man!
These sins must be forsaken and repentance must take place,
God must be humbly sought till we find His mercy and grace!
How the heart must be stirred to know that God desires to bless!
On our own, we cannot imagine that we know what is best!
God’s Plans for His people continue to be the same forever,
What He requires is that we return to Him and seek His favour.
