STUDIED BY ALL WHO HAVE PLEASURE IN THEM
Sadly, some barely glance at the works of the LORD!
It is their loss for neglecting to study the works of God.
To the wise, the works of the Lord are truly great;
They look up to the Lord and on Him they wait!
The works of God were especially created,
They were meant to be deeply appreciated!
They can only be understood through study,
They cannot be understood by the unruly!
The nature of God’s works is gently revealed;
To those who do not love God, it is concealed.
The works of the Lord bring great joy to the soul;
Through faith the believer is truly made whole.
The Person of God is graciously made known,
The soul is deeply touched; the truth is owned.
The power of God is evident to all who seek,
The fear of the Lord is given to all who are meek!
