HOW AWESOME ARE YOUR WORKS!
“How awesome are Your works!” The inspired Psalmist exclaimed;
With heart and mind deeply touched, with great joy he proclaimed.
The praise of God must be strong and glorious, from a heart of joy,
The heart stands in awe and love, unclouded by sin’s dread alloy.
“Come and see the works of God!” The Psalmist cried again,
The works of God in history past inspired a joyous refrain!
The works of God were not meant to be ever forgotten,
They were carefully preserved, in the Scriptures written.
“Come and hear, all you who fear God!” The Psalmist urged,
The heart was filled, the soul engaged, the power of God surged.
So many wonderful things were done through the grace of God,
The heart cannot but desire to praise and to extol the LORD.
“Blessed be God!” The psalmist uttered from a heart deeply blessed,
The hand of God was unmistakable, seen in His mercy expressed!
Prayers had been answered through the tender mercy of God,
There is no one like the Saviour, the great and faithful LORD!
