THE POWER OF GOD
(Easter Sacred Concert – Saturday, April 15, 2017)
The Message of the Cross is not lost to all who believe,
The Power of God is at work in those who receive.
The suffering of Jesus has great depth of meaning,
To all who have found faith and who are discerning.
The Power of God is easily understood in miracles,
It takes power to overcome many of life’s obstacles.
The blind see, the deaf hear and the lame walk again,
The soul set free is now able to sing a happy refrain!
The Power of God is tied to the Message of the Cross,
Those who came to God in faith, know that all is not lost!
There is a Power from God that gives hope to the soul,
The believer comes alive, and his heart is no longer cold.
This Power from God is ours to ask for in humble prayer;
In the place of prayer, we will always find the Lord there.
There is much to discover in the Message of the Cross,
The Power of God given will make up for what is lost!
