The Lord Is Near
The LORD is near! Oh what a precious promise from God!
We need not be gripped by any fear for we have the LORD.
Many are the mighty acts recorded in the Holy Scriptures,
If only we had faith, then we would not feel like lowly creatures! The LORD is near!
Oh what a wonderful hope we are given!
To pray to God with trust brings a special joy from Heaven.
The power of the Lord would be given in our hour of need,
He will not fail, for He is our great and awesome God indeed!
The LORD is near! What a challenge to grow our faith in God!
We will find all the strength and courage we need from the LORD.
Let the heart be assured that His promises would never fail,
His power and might, over all odds, will always prevail.
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him in truth and humility!
He will show us His grace and power that He is indeed Almighty!
How precious it is to be given a precious promise for the New Year!
Let us look forward to praising the Lord with great faith and cheer.
