PUTTING GOD FIRST

I live in a time when teens can be busier than adults;

How can I then juggle everything on my plate and still achieve good results?

As a prefect and a member of an extremely hardworking co-curricular activity;

To my worldly responsibilities, I have a proclivity.

Very often, my school activities happen on weekends;

Not forgetting invitations to go out with my friends.

But Saturdays and Sundays are days I have Pines II, YPG and Worship;

Many times, I struggle between friendship and discipleship.

But in these times of distress, I turn to the Lord’s Word for support;

And God is always there for me to help me hold the fort.

Matthew 6:33 tells me that I should “seek first the Kingdom of God”;

And I pray that I will be able to make my top priority, the Lord.

With the Lord’s Word as a constant encouragement to me;

I make it a point to come to church weekly.

I try daily to put God first before everything else;

And I wish to be in His house to study His Word before anything else.
