A Holy Communion Poem
How the Lord honours all who sincerely follow!
His words are truly profound and never hollow.
His first Call is to follow and walk with Him;
He will deal with all our weaknesses and sin.
Along the way, true friendship is wonderfully given;
The friendship of the Lord is truly a gift from Heaven.
He offers instruction with understanding of the deepest kind;
The true follower will appreciate His great love divine.
The love of Jesus is unmistakable from beginning to end;
His love is so deeply profound it is truly beyond human ken.
He offers everything that anyone could ask for in a friendship;
There is tremendous significance in divine-human fellowship!
The Call of God is a profound doctrine we must seek to comprehend;
Therein we will find our sense of purpose in the Lord’s divine plan.
Let our hearts be stirred to discover God’s will for our destiny;
Let us seek reviving grace to live for things that count for eternity.
