I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU
The Promises of God stir up the Soul,
God has promised to make one whole!
He takes us out from the world of sin,
He cleanses us from without and within!
But cleansing is not the only thing done,
He will make us anew till victory is won.
The stony heart will be taken away;
A new heart of flesh will hold sway.
A new spirit will replace the sinful one;
This new spirit to the Lord will come!
This new spirit has been made alive to God;
It will seek Him as a great and glorious Lord!
The Holy Spirit will be given as a Divine Seal,
The new creation will understand fresh zeal.
The Spirit of God will bring a brand new life,
The born-again will rise above all strife!
