I. THE CULTIVATION OF A HEART OF AFFECTION FOR THE LORD GOD (Old Testament)

1. From experiencing God’s grace and mercy            Psalm 18:1-2

g) Stronghold

2. Issuing a challenge and a call to love the Lord            Psalm 31:23

a) Because He preserves            Psalm 31:23

J. ENCOURAGEMENT TO LOVE THE LORD (New Testament)

a) To love the Lord            John 14:21, 23
